Had a bit of a beakdown
Tuesday night on a fast dark country road near Cavan...

basically bike died on me doing 100kph and loss of compression caused rear wheel lock & skiiiiiiid ....all turned out ok.. (what a Rush)
the cause was no fuel
The Fuel level display registered tank full ....however it turned out the reading was faulty.....08 GSA..... see tim cullins FFP.

I phoned Bmw assist they were brilliant.... Bike was lifted to JDs in the morning and all parts replaced and repaired..
Faulty fuel level sensor/ faulty fuel pump / faulty fuelpump volt reducer/ .... Job done by 6pm and the bike was returned to my house ...no charge

Tom Mechanic was very helpful ...
Tom, Joe.Duffy. & BMW Assist deserve Praise they delivered excellent customer service!

However BMW Manufacturer need to sort this problem!

P.s. can I keep the 1 Litre of free fuel in tank too?



P.Ps. Visually Check your fuel levels if your going for a bag of Fish & chips next week.. as this seems to be a design problem!

There's nobody down here can afford one of them new yokes & the old ones work fine
