The 2820 screen size is too small in my book

Thanks for confirming...and all the other info you pass along. Other than the minor points I mentioned, it is a great unit. Love the screen as opposed to the 2610/I can see.

I don't have a GPS unit of any kind. I don't know PanEuropean (Michael) either.

I often read the GPS related threads as I am undecided as to whether or not to buy one and find that Michael is a font of considerable knowledge on the subject who freely imparts information to anyone who asks.

In my opinion your last post is deeply offensive mrTickle. If you are unable to have an exchange of views without resorting to personal insult maybe you should just stay quiet.

I'm not a Garmin user (GPS enabled PDA) but have read with interest many of Michael's postings and I must state that what he says makes a lot of sense and he comes across as the kind of guy who just likes to pass on what he knows.

MrTickle you are out of order on this one. Maybe you have made a mistake and a 2610 is better for you but in my opinion Michael is only trying to help you get the best from your purchase. (and don't we all want to justify our purchases, even if they aren't the right ones).

For my part I'll be buying a 2610 & using my PDA for music & Gatso information.
