Gaz was itching to get his new toy out and have a play...Afterall it is over 1 day old and well overdue for a run out with me and Rob in Gaz's carful hands

He does look happy with his new clean bike

100_1602Large.jpg

But is he having second thoughts about getting it dirty :D

100_1605Large.jpg

Some nice clean stuff to start....If you could see the ground

100_1607Large.jpg

We do tend to use a wide selection of tracks and this one had not been used for a while

100_1606Large.jpg

You would not have wanted to ride this in jeans

100_1608Large.jpg

Will Rob be looking over this for much longer :nenau

100_1610Large.jpg

Another well overgrown track

100_1611Large.jpg

Maybe i should have come on a lawn mower
It's not easy riding in ruts with this amount of
growth as Gaz soon found out and had his first off :blast
Did it on the sly mind you so no pic :thedummy

Here he is ....Bike still looks ok to me :thumb2

100_1615Large.jpg

About time we got Gaz in the mud :D
But he was trying to avoid it......
And i can see why :blast

100_1630Large.jpg

Oh dear but he was still laughing :thumb2

100_1631Large.jpg

It does not look so clean now :D

100_1633Large.jpg

I now see why Gaz had such a big rucksack...
It was to put all the bits off the 650 in :augie
And he's still laughing :thumb2

100_1634Large.jpg

Lined up nice and neatly for lunch...Rob had a bit of a moment on the way to the gate...I never got a pic but he did :thumb2

100_1639Large.jpg

Rob battles the pig through a rather muddy bit

100_1640Large.jpg

While Gaz has a refusal :blast

100_1641Large.jpg

I thought these 650's were meant to be light :augie

100_1642Large.jpg

Point him in the wright direction and off he goes

100_1643Large.jpg

And of course we had to do a ford :augie

We had a great day out...I think Gaz enjoyed himself....Well he has rebuilt the bike for next weekend so he tells me :D
Thanks boys :beerjug:

Great pics chaps - looks like you had a great time! :thumb2

Are those lanes around the Midlands somewhere? Or did you find some sunshine in Wales?

Looked a great day......and good pics.:thumb2
Where in the UK are those routes?

Timpo.

Oi, I only broke a couple of bits!!!
Wouldn't be so bad if the bastard thing wasn't 9 foot tall with a hair trigger clutch but I'll sort both out for next week. Dunno about it's schizophrenic neutral-hunting gearbox though....

I reckon it was 23 hours from showroom to track :D

I've got rid of Clarks bodged handguards and fitted some Acerbis Multiplo and a smaller tail piece. It's even better looking now.

You forgot to tell 'em about the 3 man weight-training exercise we did. Bomb-hole + shagged tyres + no momentum + Robs' GS = triple hernia :D

I think me and Rob had about 3 offs each whilst yet again Master Holloway remained upright. One day though he has to fall and I'll be camera-ready for sure :)

what a lovely new bike, one day old and out on the trails, well done Gaz :bow:bow:bow:bow:bow

isn't it strange, the sat nav has to be correct,
it even has sign posts marking the route,
but where the **** is it

P1000805.jpg

it's this way HONEST

P1000807.jpg

what do mean "you don't believe me " ,
I've got the sat nav and so it must be correct,
it IS a road

P1000809.jpg

wet grass, a 200+ kilo bike and a steep downhill.
It had to happen

P1000810.jpg

overlooking Llandrindod Wells,
this is about as close as you want to get

P1000811.jpg

and finally the x650 in more experienced hands

P1000815.jpg

another great day with only one off (for me) with nothing on the bike broken (on mine)

others weren't so lucky

well done Gaz for getting out there on a day old bike,
and thanks again to Garry for leading us god knows where,
which is good 'cos I haven't a clue

Rob
