There is a black disk as part of the rear axle.
I don't know what it's called but iv just scratched it up. Can it be popped of and replaced or is it a remove the wheel swing arm and everything else job?

No it's on the hub on the shaft side where the hole is that runs through the centre of the wheel. It's free turning and has castellations on it.

depending how bad.. use black trim wax on it.. simoniz.. or permanent black marker pen...
How'd you scratch it?

I did mine once .. but it was on the floor! :thumb2

I'm not saying how I did it on the grounds I may incriminate myself, or be ridiculed mercilessly. But no sadly it's not going to polish out. I'm hopping is just a dust cover and just pops off. If it does I'll just get another one.

Find a fiche and tell us which part it is.

What size scratch is it if you are thinking of replacing it???

I can't find a fiche for it. Iv looked at the site recommended on this forum but there not comprehensive.

But I'm not sure how I could be clearer about the part I'm talking about.
Just look at the real axle. It's hollow right? There is large black plastic cover around that hole. That's the part iv scuffed. If I can just remove it I'll swap it out. If it's a case of disassemble the rear axle to replace it I'll just clean it up a bit.

Part 5 on the diagram?

Part number 33768529752, $5.47 on US sites.

If the new design is a mirror image of the old one, then it should just pop off with a screwdriver revealing the actual seal underneath - as per here

Woof, that's relief. I had visions of hours with a tiny file trying to get the scuffs out :bounce1 :bounce1 :bounce1
