Went doon borders today. What a lovely place. Not a cloud in the sky. Only problem was that three sheep, accompanied by sheep calfs, tried to commit suicide by jumping out in front of me. What wrong with them ?
Anyway, passed boring old embry, got on the b7007 to Innerleithen, looked for outerleithen but couldnt find it. Stopped at a waterfall for pictures and a paddle in the stream. Down to St Marys loch then onto Moffat for tea and scones.
Retraced back to the loch and headed for Megget and Tala reservoirs. What a scenical uppy doony wee road. Lovely.
Hoi.. english! If you are wanting to buy some water, these reservoirs are full and I know someone with a big hose. Let me know, but dont say that I told you.
Up the a707 back to embry for a haggis supper on the beach at Portobello.
Back home to mist shrouded Fife.
