Right, I'm out for the Saturday run. A mate is emigrating, and the (very refined) leaving celebration is on the Friday.

If I've stopped staggering by Saturday lunchtime, I may pop down for Saturday night & Sunday :D

Right chaps, some details :D I'm sure Nud1e will be along shortly to give you details for Saturdays run but I'll start you off with Sunday ;)

As most peeps are staying in R2D2's on Sat night (dinner is in the same restaurant as last time - if you're staying your name is on the list, unless you tell us otherwise ;) ) we're gonna leave from there on Sunday. Brekkie from 09.00 & we'll leave at 10.00. We'll be travelling mainly R & unclassified roads from Holy Cross down to Youghal and then back up the other side of the Blackwater to Lismore where we'll be stopping for lunch. Then we'll head across the Knockmealdowns to the Glen of Aherlow and ride around it before heading to Bansha & Cashel. Those heading south to get home may want to turn off in Bansha.

Total distance is 300km & we should be finished by 17.00. There is the possibility of a gravel mountain track just before Bansha for those interested (subject to time / weather) but otherwise its all tarmac.

Anyone coming along for Sunday who can't make H.C. for 10.00 can meet us in Urlingford at 10.30 where we'll stop for fuel.

Saturday, Saturday

the start will be in Dundrum at 10h30, on the dot, no waiting. From there we will be heading in the direction of UpperChurch and then meandering to lunch near Nenagh.
I'll be heading out tomorrow or Sunday to check some of the route, as it's embarrassing to get lost (twice) when leading a group.

Ain't it just :mmmm Thats why R2D2 & myself did the Sunday route last w/e & a cracking day it was too :D

So that'll be breakfast both days at 09.00 then :eek

Breakfast on both / either morning will be provided free by Mrs R2D2 :clap but she's involved with the local hospice so a wee contribution would be appropriate :D (Obviously if you're availing of the B&B then one brekkie is included with each overnight ;) )

There's fuel available in Dundrum on Sat morning but you need to make sure you're ready to go by 10.30 'cos Nud1e won't wait ;) :D There'll be no opportunities to refuel during the day so make sure you have a full tank (& an empty bladder :o ) at the start of each day .

Finally, we'll be using the Drop-off system again. Anyone not familiar with this should have a quick read through it :thumb

Apologies.

Right, I was wondering why ye never said anything about the DVDs. They are
going out in todays evening post, put them into the bag meself. Sorry about
that, they weren't franked so no one sent them. They're gone now so ye should
have them Monday or before. There are 2 disks, Boreen '06 and Slieve Felim.

The addresses I had were Joskser, R2D2, The Celt, GerryC and PJ.
I'll bring a few to the Brownie Points Run on Saturday morning. :thumb

Daithi.
