drying out

today I have been mostly drying out.
Yesterday, I made my way to Dundrum with GPS and OS maps made ready. The wind knocked me about a bit, the debris on the road - bits of trees, sand and gravel - kept me alert.
Anyway, I did about 136 km before arriving home, so the Holycross back to Holycross run should be about 200 km.
Lunch is at 80 km, just off the N7 near Nenagh, the place was closed yesterday as they had had a fire but I'm assured that they will be open for Saturday, just hope that everyone like the grub well done.
I hadn't been over a lot of this route before, and some of the rest only in the opposite direction, so there were a few surprises but I managed to brake in time and return home wet but undamaged.
I discovered a few places that I should have visited before, found the start of a couple of tracks that I'd like to explore and I've decided that, at my age, I need more that a mobile phone, GPS and OS maps with me when exploring. Anyone interested should apply ASAP, as there are some other places to explore.
For those with GPS, I'm attaching the track and you might look at the profile.
For those coming on Saturday, I suggest that you bring cameras and I hope that the weather stay clear. Anyone afraid of heights should keep their eyes on the guy ahead and not what's not below their left boot.
Some of the roads are narrow, some of the roads are rough but all are within the ability of the average GS rider who shows some commonsense. Speeds will be low as my R80 has a buzz from 4,500 onwards or 110kph up. We will be crossing the N7 at a dangerous junction, so be careful.
I hope to see you all in Dundrum, Co Tipperary for a 10h30 start from near the filling station.
All welcome. My seldom answered mobile for these runs is 086 0563636, leave a text.
Bye for now.

I'm planning to leave Kildare about 07.30  to be in Holy Cross for brekkie at 09.00 as its too early to expect anything at home other than a cuppa - and maybe a bit of 'cold shoulder' ;)

So the options are :
1. Be in my place about 07.00 for a cuppa & then we'll head off.
2. Meet me at the Kildare turn-off M7 - roundabout at top of slip road.
3. Have a lie-on & be in Dundrum for 10.30.

Ya pays your money & ya takes your chances  Answers to the usual address please :D

:nono :nono :nono :D :D :D

If there is an option 4: Drop gear off in Maison R2D2 at 9.59am and head to Dundrum from there, I'll probably do this.
