What do y'all reckon.....

I ride all year round, I don't have a car just the bike. This winter west of Ireland crucifying weather will be here soon. So I'm kitting up again for the winter.

I was wondering either expensive kit i.e. Rukka, HG Master V for warmth and waterproofing OR do I go for or cheaper but water proof jacket and trousers and put with with gerbings heated liners (Trousers, gloves and jacket).

Both options add up to the same cost.

Which option would you guys go for.

Hi!

And my mum knitted me trouser & sweater in wool - wool are the best next to your skin too so find a thin & soft set in a store too.

Clothes from Gerbing is a good idea; I have gloves and socks.

And it is important to wear wool socks!

If your boots feel cold, try to put some thin metal folie (the type you wrap around food - see picture) under a sole made of wool. Make sure there are room for air inside the boots too!

:) Liv.
