Just got back. Sorry for not noticing but as suggested I was probably too busy trying to look all windswept and interesting. I was also most likely preparing to lob another headless chicken in my wake.
You should have turned round and followed, twas a cracking night of debauchery. A mate with quite a lot of land complete with 3 lakes in the wilds of Suffolk was hosting a party put on by a ravey davey type group of old hippies. 2 dance tents/live music tent/bar/big fire and camping.
I sashayed the night away till the wee small hours. Arrived home in a rather fragile state wondering when I'm ever going to grow the fuck up! Marvellous.
OK so am going to turn up at this shindig and Pete (Melch) may be there as well.
But what attire should a chap wear...
Was thinking gabardine and hobnail boots but don't want to look a silly arse from from the local cricket club on a fell-walking holiday.
Have decided instead on a dinner suit with a black bow tire.
Will also make sure I have enough room for a generous bowlful of pipe tobacco and maybe the odd square of Kendal Mint Cake.
Any other fellows going?

I have replenished my stock of 'stiffener' as per picture. (Bad form to be sporting a droopy lip weasel you know!) I am now confident in being firm and erect on the day.

Well, I do hope the chap I saw on a Honda Cub 50 earlier today makes it down from the North East.

Then super-gluing it to my face for the ride down and event. Then ride home and shave it off.
It's the least a chap can do.
It's not for another two a and half weeks so a Club 50 should make it with half an hour to spare.

I really fancy this. But can I be arsed to ride the Harley from Liverpool when it only has a 70 mile tank range.
