The Eagle Has landed

Yeahhhhhhhhh..........Take it to the Max.

(does that seat looks a bit extreme, or is it me?)

Bet you got one of your mates tae fly it in ya jammy cnut:eyesdown

Well what ?

Picked it up at 5.30 pm and then tried to fit pannier rails to discover that I have the SM bag of bolts and not the SE ones.

Bugger

And the front tyre is flat as the valve is leaking.

Double bugger.

Obviously some glitch when they swapped the OE Karoo Ts for Scorpions.

So only rode it 1 mile home !

Managed to fit my Black Dog rack and Kaoto bag so think I will feck off to France to run it in on Thurs, assuming the valve can be sorted/replaced tomorrow.

Edited to say, here's a couple of pics I've just taken :

That’s such a lovely looking bike – I’ve a test ride booked for next week, with a view to chop my Africa Twin in.

I'd forgot how bloody great they are.

Just been out today running errands etc.

Off to Brittany tomorrow for a couple of nights to run it in.

They go bloody well-better than the 950SM,I think because its about 7kgs lighter and the headers are different to the SM.

Makes a huge difference with the Akra slip-ons compared to standard.

Might be a keeper (for a while at least

Must admit that when i saw it today i was very jelous , talking the wife into letting me get smoething Orange and Black .................................. A new Dodge challenger , not an ideal car for over here but should be quite rare and good fun so i might ask my old man to look out for one when he is back in the states next month .

It's definitely run in.

Just back from blatting round Brittany/Pays de Loire etc.

The SE went like a dream.

Did 600 miles with about 340 miles yesterday, alone.

Thought the firm seat would become a pain, literally but was surprised just how good it was.

Even the tank range was better than I expected.

A few pics.
