Can you tell if mine is new frame from photo?

Congrats on the bike.:thumb You can't tell just by looking at it, as the difference is minimal. Your best bet would be to firstly check when the bike was built; if it was built this month, it probably will have the new frame. Or just ask your dealer.:thumb

When are you picking it up?

Hopefully next week. Tuesday maybe when work dies down.
What are the differences in the frames. Is it just geometry?

You must have spent a mint already on yours;)

Not sure what the exact differences are.

Yep, I never thought I'd spend this much on a bike.

I was in a Ducati dealership a couple of days ago, A Multistrada GT for £16,800 !!

Bargain!:D I do like the Multi, but I just can't do it, even though I could have saved a few £'s.:augie I know a couple of people that have sold their MS to get the LC, and they say the GS is a much better all round bike.:beerjug:

Health and wealth, to enjoy Nutty :beerjug:

I sold my ms for an LC it really is a better all rounder.

Would be nice to no the exact reasons for the frame update, and what these are, the rear rack is deffo different from mine as i still have the BMW emblem. Makes you wonder with all these updates will the first gen bikes be harder to move on !

I'd imagine the likes of TT with have to modify there tooling for the new bars to fit this model, could be expensive for them.

It's looking great Nutty, especially with the satin black panels,:thumby:

You've not put the special foot pegs on yet ! or did you forget, and leave them on the other bike :blast

Perhaps the geometry has been altered

Why did you go for the TT seat instead of the BMW solo jobbie ?

Thanks Graham.:thumb I went with Pivot Pegz again this time, as I like the pivoting action. I've had them on a few bikes, and missed them on the last one.

Fancied a change.:P And, as it's slightly longer, I don't have to change it if I'm taking anyone on the back.:augie

If it has the suede type cover be careful swinging your leg over because they mark quite easily. I had one on my original 1200. Nice piece of kit but I went back to OE because on that model it made you sit further back. Really comfortable for the rider less so for pillion IIRC.

( QUOTE ) I'm having the Touratech radiator guards, cylinder covers, centre stand plate, and Wunderlich bar risers fitted, as well as the BMW engine bars, tinted screen, LED spots, Akra exhaust, panniers and tank bag. I'm hoping for delivery on Wednesday 18th, as that's my birthday, but that may be pushing it a bit, so delivery will probably be Thursday or Friday.

I've got loads more to fit, once it arrives, so watch this space!

Feck me all I got was SOCKS !!!!! :barf and my 11 year ole 1150. :D:D:D

It really is a thing of Beauty Nutty, congratulations... :ronno
