Well that’s interesting, but you can’t book a room without paying up front.

However using a credit card would presumably give full protection and a refund if necessary!

Hopefully won’t come to that as any new owner would be taking it on as a going concern and would honour existing bookings and events etc. (at least let’s hope for that!)

We booked via Booking.Com and don't have to pay until 4 days before arriving

Chaps, I've had to cancel, going to Portugal instead from end of September. I've cancelled my room at the Pear Tree in Hook Norton, so a double room now available. I need to put a hold on confirming my pitch. We are finishing the planning of a trip to Japan and then Australia, to see family.

I'll know soon what these dates will be and confirm then. If there are no spaces left, that's my loss.
