Cheers Tiff, for the best weekend for ages, me and Becky had the hardest ride ever on the way home.

Very cold, wet and if it wasn`t for her having no hand gaurds or heated grips, I would have stayed on another night, as I was going to give up at one stage.

Shes a wife in a million.

HARECORE Mrs

I passed you at I guess one of the warm up stops, a cafe in Cornwall on the A30, I took my own stop at Okehampton where I promptly flooded the Little Thief with all the water emanating from my sodden kit.

I then got to yours around 4 obviously ahead of you so made do with a coffee & mars bar stop at Popham Services before the last 90 miles in the dry which alowed my kit to mostly dry off - when I got home the Mrs who had enjoyed a weekend of lovely sunshine was having none of my stories of monsoons and gales :(

Despite me now having the neck muscles of a rhino.

Hope the cold killer inner gloves helped a little, now go back to work and earn some money so that woman can have a proper bike to play on and people won't go running scared the next time an escort is called for :D

I never thought i'd hear the day that the rufty tufty biker, now more commonly known as Ewan McBurbidge, would describe any ride as tough!!!!!:P

You're not kidding!

Got to Land's End in 4:45.
Coming back - 7:30!

What prat decided to put Exeter Airport where they did? The most vicious side winds of the whole trip were RIGHT there! First time ever both the gloves and boots let in water. Well done to Jo sitting on the back with nowt to to take her mind off the bl**dy rain. You're a star.

Thanks Tiff (and others) for a great weekend and for Saturday's weather!!

Thanks to the guy in the next tent that kindly lent us a puck for the sidestand - not sure of your name, but cheers anyway.

And good luck to Iain Hogg who left on Sunday to ride to Fort William... all 670 miles of it!
