Apologies to all who were looking forward to the haggis showdown and especially to Geraldine and Jochen who do so much prep work but myself and minder have to cancel. On the plus side ...

1. No one will have to eat Lancashire haggis! Or any haggis if they're picky / over squeamish about their grub!
2. There's no chance of me fecking up the drop off system on the ride out. Again!
3. There's a twin room available for the Fri and Sat nights. (Just letting you know, I won't be charged anyway.)

I hate to admit it Jochen but it looks like minder Dave made the right call. I could not have got the bike out of the lock up this morning due to about 3 inches of snow and frozen slush. Likewise the roads around the house. Getting to Cairnryan would have been a challenge to say the least. It seems like those heading from Englandshire will be ok though. Conditions seem much warmer down there. I'm off to get a woolly jumper.
