Soooo Glad it's open
Took advantage of the works being completed by taking a run in that direction this morning. No pictures of the lecht itself, but a few from around that way

IT'S OPEN BUT WATCH OUT FOR A STRETCH OF LOOSE GRAVEL JUST AFTER THE COCK BRIDGE HEADING TOWARDS STRATHDON.
1100 miles of glorious Scottish riding nearly ended in tears yesterday. As it happens, an underwear change was all that was needed.
Oh and the Corgarff castle viewpoint layby on the bends is liberally sprinkled with loose gravel for now.

Won't be hard, north east Scotland seems to have the countries supply of chippings, which are being thrown onto the roads without a care in the world. It would seem, allegedly.
They keep adding wee sections of gravel to keep you alert. When it first opened again there wasn't too much but now there are a few spots, mainly on the south side. At least it's in patches and not all over.
was up it on Saturday and there was very little gravel at all. must have been mostly cleared away. pity about the bloody mist and rain though!
