Although expensive I'm impressed. On dipped.

Illuminated the road better than any other bike light I've had.

That does look quite good. Not ridden mine in the proper dark but must say in tunnels when we were away it didn't seem that good!

I have to say that I'm seriously impressed with mine and think they are better than my cars lights!

I needed to make a slight adjustment to the height but am amazed at how good they are.

It's very often the case that people don't even try adjusting the stock lights before going down the HID or Aux lights route.

They are good on dipped beam, but not as good as the factory Xenon set up from the K1200GT. On my bike they seem to be adjusted a bit low, so I have raised them a little.

best standard headlight Ive ever used.... adjusted to light the way ahead on dipped and on full... carve a beam of light like a lighthouse! :thumb2

I agree the LED headlight is impressive, but sometimes on full beam there's just so much light reflected back of large roadsigns that I find myself dipping the light to avoid the glare.

Anyone understand fully how the daytime running light (whichever light that is) is supposed to work. (The dealer didnt fully)!
Could someone be arsed to explain to this numpty thx?:blast

On the LED equipped bike it's the elongated horseshoe lying on its side shaped LED light which is beside the dipped beam. When the lights are set to auto, it comes on in daylight and when the daylight drops below a certain level, it goes out and dip beam comes on.

LED Headlight

Will the LED fogs, (if fitted) work with just the daytime running light?

Gotcha, but what state are they in with the auto not on?

Not quite: when the dipped beam comes on, the led drl is dimmed, it's not switched off.

What does it do when not switched to auto then? It's all too confusing...

In fact the auto setting automatically turns the dipped beam off when ambient light levels are high enough. If you switch the auto function off, the dipped beam is on (and the drl is dimmed) all the time.
