I thought the Kriega one looked a bit of a bargain and was just about to order it before I noticed "tools not included"

I've got an old tool kit from a K75 I had many years ago knocking about somewhere. Enough tools as standard to dismantle the whole bike

How many here remember the days when you got a full tool kit roll, including tyre levers and puncture kit, and even a BMW logo hand towell. Nowadays BMWs are definately built down to a price. I liked them better in the old days when they were about 25% more expensive than other similar sized bikes, the build quality was far better, and they were usually very reliable.
Or do I need to clean my rose tinted spectacles?

Going back to my K75 though they were also as dull as ditchwater

How on earth anyone could make a two wheeled vehicle with a 750cc engine soooooo boring is beyond me.

I meant pre k series, although I did enjoy the k75rt and k100rt as police patrol bikes.

1976 R75/6 - I remember it well - still got the tool roll complete with towel.
I don't think your recollections are totally "rose tinted". That's why they were £2K when other bikes were in the region of £1200

Unless there are enough tools to carry out the obligatory frontal lobotomy in a lay by on the A14 east or Corby... Then it no good to me

I've been looking for some kind of collapsible or telescopic wrench to keep in a toolroll on the bike, not seen anything anywhere until this evening:

That's a neat solution SilverFish, but you could get the male key, a full set of torx spanners and an wrench for a lot less, perhaps half that price.
