180hp is just stupid useless power with that chassis. Its going to squat like crazy and the front end will pogo when you hit it. They would do better to tune it for more low end torque and add better jacketing to prevent heat from the read cylinder baking the seat.

I'm waiting for something to tempt me away from a GS/ GSA, but it hasn't happened yet.

I thought long and hard about one, before ordering the S1000RS, but there was nothing on it that justified such a price difference over the BMW. For me, the S1K is the better bike. And I found it more comfortable to ride. But, I can see the attraction of the SD to some.

Personally i prefer the SD over the S1, the SD has the edge on build quality, ok it don't have all the electrics the bm has, but that has it minus and pluses however i like it a lot, the engine is manic, but the wise man will probably go with bm for the healthy return on selling.
