My friends father rode his motorcycle to Capetown in 1932 from, we think, South East England. These are the only photos we have. Can anyone identify the bike as her father has now past away and she has no other information on the bike.
I don't think he had Sat Nav or a 4 X4 back up crew, it looks like he was in the AA though.

Oddly enough it was probably easier then than now! In those days it was possible to drive over most of the Sudan in an ordinary car and this was probably true for most of the route. People used to fly into Juba for their honeymoon! Changed somewhat since then and not for the better!
 
its either the tt replica or the ttr, hrd was bought out later by vincent
