The P. R. of Cork Annual Ride-out.

Sorry for not responding sooner, the interweb was down all morning. :(

Is it not the Shell??
And 10 bells?
Yeah Paul we are leaving at 10:00 but the Garage is a Statoil not a Shell (my mistake):o

late notice Daithi sorry, but can you stick me down for the hotel as well, Padge are you still going down on sat morning?
No problem Dave, booked you first thing this morning. :thumb2

Grand.. I don't have yours so can you PM or text me.

From My search with the Co-ordinates form Daithi, it is on the N22 just outside cork City (South West side).
From Dublin side, take South Ring, get off at Sarsfield Road Roundabout (Next roundabout After Airport and Kearys BMW) and head towards City.
At end of road take Left and petrol station is there (the road runs aside the River Lee).

Daithi will probably be along shortly to tell me I'm talking thru me ar$e.
Hi Paul, those directions will bring you to the start of the "Straight Road" so
yer not talking through your ar$e. As the Grumpiest One is our expert you
can take his coordinates to be correct, but either will bring you to the start
of the Carrigrohane Straight.:thumb2 Just follow the sound of the tossers waffeling. :thumb2

Anyone else coming who hasn't posted ?
Weather forecast looks very good.:bounce1

It's a straight road with only one Petrol station on it, but then if you are not left out that often I suppose even you could get lost on it.

Right, I think we need clarification then.
Mapsource shows 3 stations on the road. 2 Statoil with one Shell in the middle.
Daithi's Co-ord's exactly pinpoint the Shell station.:confused::confused:

Hi Paul, sorry for the confusion, as I said, it's my fault. The meeting point is the Statoil Petrol Station : (IW 64785 71317) which is west of the Shell garage. :thumb
Any of the other Seven would do.

Drive along the 'straight road' until you come to a petrol station on your left with a load of GSs outside :D
Uncharacteristically non-pi$$ taking answer there Jockser, I applaud your self-restraint.:clap :green gri :D

You can throw your panniers into my van at the "STATOIL" station.

See ya then.:thumb2

Passed ye Saturday afternoon on the Dakar - great spot :thumb2
I spent the weekend wandering around the tracks there.
I believe you were spotted by a member of our group, a good humoured man
on a TTR, you should have tagged along for the spin, great weekend.:thumb
