Hi everyone,
after a long period od silence I'd like to be back ... a bit noisy.

A week before Christmas I've been in the scenic Pyrenees with my friends Andy, kktos and Oli. Andys intention was to give his new Ténéré a first decent ride-out, kktos to have a few meters on a F800GSA, Oli because he lives there and me ... well, I'm having a new toy and I need to practise a bit for our new movie. And no: It's not a new bike ;-)

But have a look yourself and enjoy the next 3 minutes. If your line is fast enough watch it in HD. The starry sky will appreciate it.

P.S.: Via Mediterra will be updated soon.

Very nicely done Dirk and some cool shooting with the copter camera too! :thumb

I wonder if these copter camera thingies can be programmed in any way to follow a bike for a solo rider? :nenau

Dirk,
Really enjoyed your video. Many hours must have gone into the filming and editing. Many thanks for posting and taking the time to post it here.:thumby:

Not bad. Pity you haven't edited out the camera shadow shots:blast

Good stuff
I fancied one of those flying camera platforms but the reviews were awful
You proved them wrong

Thanks mate. But as you see there is also no color correction/grading. So it isn't meant to be a perfect thing. Our intention was to check if we can handle the timing of the flying cam and the bikes properly. From the footage we recorded I just did a small compilation. We'd like to use what we've learned during these days for our next movie. That will be without chopper shadows ;-)

Cheers

Excellent quality, really enjoyed that :thumb2

I hadnt heard of copter cameras, i was thinking these lads must be cashed up, two good bikes plus a mate in a helicopter!

Fantastic photos , lovely scenery

Hi Dirk,
Great video enjoyed that!!! me and a friend have been filming with a quadcopter all last year for TV, look forward to more of the same? Enjoy your new toy.

Hi Jay, they can. What you need is a transmitter on the bike and a receiver on the chopper. Mind tunnels :aidan
