Really pleased with the bike and it was perfect down there on the twisty roads with the MT21's working really well on the hot tarmac

Not a breakdown as such

Flat battery yesterday, managed to give it 5 mins charge and it started

New battery @ Rainbow, who commented on the 'creaky' Pinion bearings, which had expired..................so not a showstopper and only £25 each, x 2 bearings

Cheaper than a 1200 FD

Got a spare bike for this weekend though

Looks like you had decent weather too - I met a guy at the weekend who had entered his bike into the Moto Piston rally who said the rain was fairly horrible over the mountains for several days.

Thanks, it was a great holiday. Don't know where he was as we had 30 Degrees hot and sunny all week where we were. I can really recommend La Pisa if you ever go over, its a great base to explore the area from.
