I have spent a great deal of time in different comercial sleeping bags this year. The problem with all of the ones I have ever tried is the zips. When you are half awake because you are too hot or too cold you try to open or shut the zip and it jams and then you have to wake up fully and un jam it. Or has on many bags I have had the zip breaks and it cost more to renew the zip then buy a new bag. Then you end up trying to sleep in the cold with a broken zip.
Well after following some advice on the forum I bought the recomended USA army sleep system. I got it for £100. It is superb the zips are a revelation I can not get them to jam once. I have even found my self zipping them up and down and happily smiling to my self. I now sleep better every night I use them than I did before.
