The Queens, New Quay

Just back from a fantastic week in Wales (hot sun every day ) where I based myself in New Quay. Whilst there The Queens was my evening watering hole. Highly recommended, fine ale, great food and really nice owners/bar staff. Wellworth searching out if you are in the area.

Yep fine pub that with lovely view, off there next Friday staying at http://www.cei-bach.co.uk/ 400 yards from beach and a 40 minute walk along said beach to NewQuay, couple or five beers and a fiver taxi back quality

I passed the Country Club site on my walk to Aberaeron. I will try that site myself when I go back to New Quay as the site I stayed on was truly dreadful (straight up the hill from the pub, 5 mins walk). I don't think it had changed since the 70's and was only put up with as it was nearly empty and all I needed was a field to park the camper and somewhere to hook up. Enjoy your trip
