After a false start with having a black one delivered by mistake, today, my baby blue Tomos arrived :clap

His & Hers

So..........we just need to make up some frames, fit some of Vern's World Beaters and we're ready to rock'n'roll :bounce1 :bounce1 :bounce1

How are they derestricted ? Is it a washer in the exhaust or more complicated ? . There,s a guy near me has a Honda Zoomer with a malossi kit and pipe does 50mph !!

at the risk of sounding like an old (un)cool dad thats cool love the colour of the bikes and as usuall good pictures !!!!!

Ta :)

As I mentioned, they originally delivered a black one by mistake and whilst it looked fine in black it just didn't seem to work. I think it was just too 'butch' for such a little bike :D

I'm waiting for a technical (sic) document from the factory but from conversations with the importer it would seem to be an airbox mod (cut off a restrictive snorkel) and removal of a washer in the header pipe. You also then need to drop a tooth on the rear sprocket. I just need confirmation on whether I need to go up a size on the main jet.

I'm not after 'tuning' the bike or affecting reliability, I just want enough poke to safely keep up with traffic in town. The bike should be good for 40ish and have much better acceleration when running as originally intended.

Cue stories of 'when I were a lad'.............. :D.............

Yep, chapped on the door of an old fella up the road from me when I was about 15. Had an old Mobylette in the front garden, his wife had used it but now had a new one. Do you want to sell the old moped mister? "No lad, but if you can get it running you can have it for nothing. I've spent hours on the ***** ***.**** thing!" 20 minutes later I had a free Moby. It was great for 20 minute trips, after that it lost power and needed a little rest. Hindsight says it was probably knackered crank seals.

It's a Tomos adventure

My first proper play with a GoPro and the results of a very steep learning curve on Adobe Premier.........

Another youtube link not showing properly have youtube changed something. Watched it on youtube OK, but the camera was badly adjusted on your lid and not a great view to be had, apart from that you are getting there

That's strange - it shows and plays on here ok for me - anybody else here having an issue? I's defaulted to 720HD, are you on a poor connection maybe??

Re the camera angle, you're spot on; I shot some really good 'riding' stuff with lots of mucking around filming people in busses / cars when pulled up along side, not to mention some radar speed signs showing me maxed out at 28mph..........got home and found out the camera hadn't been switched on (in my defence it's the first time I've used a GoPro :D ) so I rushed out and quickly filmed some stuff with, yeah, a crap camera angle. Anyway, the object was to shoot some stuff to help teach myself editing software and that kinda thing - I'm looking forward to really getting stuck in though, it's been great fun learning :)
