the tv as the monitor question

hi,i need help

i just watched the hairy bikers on the beeb watch again thing,great idea
my question is as i'm about to replace the tv can i get a tv that i can connect to the pc when i want to use the bbc player instead of sitting at the pc(lazy git)and if so can any of you guy's reccomend one

Loz any of the new LCD TV's have the facility, mine is an Aldi's 'Tevion' 32" LCD about 18mnths old, as well as RF, SCART, HDMI, connectors it also has an SVGA connector as well.
Coincidently, last night I ordered a 5 metre SVGA male to male lead off ebay for about £8 so I can connect the laptop to the TV.

Tuned should be along at some point and may explain better.
