Was in Motorrad Central West a few days ago and a guy was handing out leaflets for a bike show in Newton Stewart that he was organising, and I offered to post it up details here in case it is of interest to anyone.

The Rotary Club of Newton Stewart would like to welcome you to the Wheelie Good Bike Show website.
Newton Stewart in South West Scotland is to host the only street motorcycle show north of the border.
Entry to the show is free; all we ask is that you donate generously to raise money for the charities to benefit from the show. It is hoped that the cost of putting on the show will be covered by the use of sponsors and volunteers as well as revenue from exhibitors and advertising. This would mean that every single penny that you donate would go to charity.
What is a street motorcycle show? Put simply, it is a gathering of motorcycles of all types, sizes, colours and shapes, parked in the street. Along with the entertainment and the retail activities it adds up to a good day out for all the family.
There will be a retail area selling motorcycle related items and other goods. Food and drink will be available from various outlets in the town. Of course the youngsters will be catered for too.
There will also be a ride-in, which will be ticket only, and we will be asking for £5 per motorcycle. This donation will allow parking in a dedicated parking area in the centre of the town. Ticket numbers will be limited, so get yours early.
