Changed mine every 6k miles... I used a k&n filter.

Oil and filter every 5 to 6K maximum

Only ever had Putoline 10/40 then 15/50 Semi synthetic

Always a new sump drain plug washer

Wunderlich 'Blue Line' washable/re-oilable air filter

I must have a bad OCD I change the oil and filter every 3,000 to 4,000 never any more.think I need help.was going to put a K+N air filter in it as well.

67k...no mechanical issues, stator replaced, reg/rec replaced, changed fuel pump chasing a stuttering issue that turned out to be the side stand switch... usual start up rattle, just ordered the fueling cable mod thingy
