Got you! So tighten from both sides of the engineThe studs pass through the lower engine block.
There are 19mm nuts on either end
To be clear, tighten both sides at once. I normally lay a 19mm spanner on one side and make sure it will butt up against something as I turn the other side of the bike. Or you can hold both sides if you have a helper, or arms that are 5ft long. Check Haynes or similar for torque values (normally quite tight).Got you! So tighten from both sides of the engine
Best policy is to knock them through with a spare stud, then grease the original and replace.Don’t take the long studs right out but whilst you are there check they move back and forth as they can seize into the aluminium block over time.
