Ken, why have you taken on this apparent crusade and started followin' Johnny around the forum (I see you've posted on his thread in the Anglian section too). It looks to me as if you're poking him with a stick in the hope of getting a reaction or worse, getting him to flounce or get himself banned. I honestly can't remember the last time that you posted anything in the SS, apart from this recent spate. Can you?

We have our own Moderator in the SS: garfield. As someone already pointed out in another thread, he's perfectly capable without the likes of you holding his hand.

I'm still mystified as to why you even venture into this section? Do you ever come up here or have any connection or interest with Scotland? I doubt it. You're not a Supermod so why the interest in the Scotland Section all of a sudden?
 
My honest view on the fiasco

On a serious note.
If Johnny did leave the site, I for one would miss him and his postings..
It's people like him that make this site what it is..
Probably the BEST motorcycle site on the net....
Also probably the most FUN site on the net...

for what it's worth, the "C**t" word is the only one thats liable to get me a crack round the ears from Barb...

Johnny, nobody wants you to leave, and nobody is out to get you.....

You've been given an awful lot more leeway that you would have had on any other site I know (if this was advrider and you'd started posting nipple shots which is their equivalent of our 'c' word problem, you'd have been on a permaban a long time ago, no doubt whatsover, and no debate), and that's largely because those of us who have met you know better than the way you're coming across here at the moment, like you and respect what you've done over the years.....

Paul has put in place a swear filter that takes out the word c*** though, and deliberate bypassing of it has to be dealt with...as I've told you several times already, there's no getting away from that and it will be done because over several debates and a poll held on the forum, it was decided that the word was offensive and spoilt the feeling of the place for the majority.

It's not 'you versus us' or anything like that....you're not being victimised or picked on, but you seem to have got yourself into thinking its some sort of challenge or battle, and ultimately, if you're playing in the playground of someone who has decided that your game is not to be played, there's no point in trying to carry on with that game.

As I said, nobody wants to see you leave or have to leave, but you do keep pushing and pushing and you're just not doing yourself any favours :blast

PS You may say that you don't mind if you get sent to Trippyland, but a lot of us would miss you and I think you'd miss this place long term a lot more than you realise.....the long dark winter is upon us (perhaps that's part of the problem:()
