Son had his van broken into outside the house in Forres, no one seen nor heard a thing, despite it being on a main road, £4500 worth of tools gone, second time this year, first was in Aberdeen.

So if anyone in the area knows of any tools being offers for sale please send me a PM, they are all marked with his name and initials.

Tools knicked are all joiners power tools, drills, impact drivers, nail guns etc.

Also anyone else in the area with a van or lock up, keep vigilant police have said they have had a few similar incidents in the area.

Border tinkers up here doing tarmac drives ect. Amazing the way thefts from cars have increased from nil to dozens. Just coincidence though.

I used to work for Makita, and the number of times I had tradesmen that had their tools (and their living) stolen from them was unreal.

But of course, someone else buys them - equal fukkas in my view.
