Son had his van broken into outside the house in Forres:mad:, no one seen nor heard a thing, despite it being on a main road, £4500 worth of tools gone, second time this year, first was in Aberdeen.

So if anyone in the area knows of any tools being offers for sale please send me a PM, they are all marked with his name and initials.

Tools knicked are all joiners power tools, drills, impact drivers, nail guns etc.

Also anyone else in the area with a van or lock up, keep vigilant police have said they have had a few similar incidents in the area.

That's a big loss to a tradesman - sorry to hear it.

Would it help to post his initials or surname?

Border tinkers up here doing tarmac drives ect. Amazing the way thefts from cars have increased from nil to dozens. Just coincidence though.:D

I used to work for Makita, and the number of times I had tradesmen that had their tools (and their living) stolen from them was unreal.

But of course, someone else buys them - equal fukkas in my view.

I'm really sorry to hear that, good luck - I hope the police find the cnuts :rob
