Things a visitor must see in Wales ?

Apart from dragons, St. Davids is worth a look with the Bishop's Palace and Cathedral, and you can go and take a stroll overlooking Ramsey Island, which is lovely. There's a nice run up the coast or plenty of lanes leading to small villages, beached and inlets that are worth looking for if you have the time. :thumb

Not one to gossip....BUT ;) I believe Gecko has 'company' ;) ;)

Hi Marc catch up with you at Fforest Fields on Monday night.I can take you on a few rides if you like or show you the routes on a map don't have one of those GPS things

'places to ride'

As a 'Jock' who's only previous experience of Wales was the slag heaps in the southern valleys and seemingly incessant rain, Mid-Wales has been an eye opener to me. A wide variety of brilliant roads and scenery, if you make it up the coast from St Davids as far as Machyncleth then the coast road by Aberdovey to Dolgellau is a must. Great bends plus views out over Cardigan Bay towards the LLewyn Peninsula before swingin round by Barmouth and Harlech to Portmadog. If steam railways are your thing there's a well sorted one will take you from the waterfront up to FFestiniog and back before your ride up by Bedelgellert and Mount Snowdon.

Maybe see you out there if I get my bike fixed in time.

Have a good 'un,

givit :thumb

If you find any spellin mistakes, particularly on Welsh names you can keep em ;)

I'll look forward to that. Bring a mug this time though - I can't have you drinking out the bottle like last year :D

I'll tie a yellow thread on your toe under the table while you drink a beer (nobody are going to notice), then I tie the other end at a nail at the wall at the corner of the house.
If you can't find me I'm not sure I will miss you that much... ;) :P
