I was furtling through the toolbox on my 1150 looking for the lid locking adaptor when I found another peice of black plastic about 1.25 inches long, half round with a bracket thing on the end.
Before I resort to a photo does anyone recognise this from my vague description and do they know what it does???

Just like you...

I too am a 50 year old biker (since I was 14) but you don't help your case by being 'vague'. Its a plug cap puller for decreped old fingers to grip round.:)

Lucid moments are the best the others are just a blurr, pretty much like my eyesight .

I looked like a 50 year old biker when I was 14!!.

Yep I reckon you could do something to a spark plug with this widget.....mystery solved. Many thanks

Yeah, used mine at the recent 12k service. Now I can't figure out where the f*ck it fits back in the tool tray. Help? anyone - it's currently rattling around in the bottom of the tray.

Clip it onto the end of the scewdriver handle. You'll be quite gruntled afterwards.
