Hi everyone
I am an owner of an 05 k25 gs1200. I have been its owner for the last 3 years and enjoying every minute of it.

I’m looking for your opinions.
1. A local bike shop to me has a 2012 one for a higher price than a 2015 gs 1200 with similar mileage is this normal?

2. I am thinking of changing to a 2013 lc. Is there anything i should be looking out for or worried about on the lc? I’m just curious if I do take the deal will i enjoy it as much as my current 05 gs.

@GSjay - if it's an approved or OEM headlight there should be a single or double headed arrow on the glass. Single headed it dips in the direction of the arrow. Double headed it's a symmetric (flat) dip.

Also check that a previous owner hasn't changed the bulb to a non standard type and fucked up the beam pattern.

I’ll check the headlight later when I get I finish work.

Suspicious - I'd be tempted to change for a standard bulb and see if that fixes the problem.

I have a spare set for the car I’ll check to see if they fit when I’m checking the headlamp later.

I had a Quick Look for the arrow. Looking at the headlamp unit there is an arrow pointing to the right. The arrow is on the high beam side looking at it. I didn’t try the bulbs just yet.

Looking at diagram 3 as a guide my beam pattern is the opposite to this. Imagine looking at at the picture using a mirror.
