Thinking about a 950 / 990...

The lure of orange is slowly building...
I've been thinking increasingly about dipping my toe into the KTM twin world. The 950 especially appeals due it's carbs and lack of temperamental electronics although they're getting on a bit now. Can anyone point me towards any sources of 'common problems' and things to look for?

I've got the 990 ..............NO PROBLEMS

I had a 1150GSA and must say.......I don't miss her anymore as the KTM has had nothing go wrong to date
(mines a three owner 14k miles well sorted & looked after beast) Its a totally differnrt bike to ride BUT in as better way !

the 15min standing/ running/ idle test sorted the snatchy throttle
Dunno why but its been written up on the KTM forum and works !!! Its a way of resetting the fuel system in computer speak a "Reboot"

I had a late 990A before jumping to the 1190A. Whilst I love the turbo nutter barsteward 1190A, there is something I still really miss in no longer having the 990A. I may need a 3rd bike to fix this gap...
