thinking of a few mods

help and advice , I am looking to do a few mods and would apprecite a few comments.
i have an 05 gs and would like to change the following
Screeen = MRA vario screen
Exhaust, seen that most people just change the headers i assume Remus is the best?
HID lights - main Beam and driving light, I see les wassell and Zerocool do kits? what is the differnece apart from price?

your comments and advice would be appreciated

Hi ! Yes Remus headers and pipe the way to go ,Akro also very nice,saves a hell of a lot of weight and sounds great .All other bling is personal I tend to keep the look as origonal but hey we are all different!!

Les Wassall's kit comes with the under oil cooler mount for the ballasts, pre drilled plastic caps for the rear of the headlight cluster and they work with the CANBUS bulb failure technology.

Someone else will need to confirm what Zerocool's comes with and whether there are any CANBUS bulb failure detect issues.

I suspect both kits need a little inventive routing of cables around the front subframe - which is easier to do if you remove the screen, beak and headlight assembly.

Hi, I have a 05 too. Changed the headers for remus, akro can, les wassals hid, and winglets, nippy norms.
Results as follows:
Exhaust lot lighter, sounds lot nicer, goes far far better.
Hids are very very good, lights are huge improvement, you can buy cheaper but by all accounts they will not be as well put together as the Wassal kit, instructions are good and it does what it says on the tin.
Didnt think I needed screen but did put winglets on, they make a big difference to wind blast on chest, nippys are okay but for £1 more could have had BMW ones that are a lot nicer finished on the edges.
Hope that helps.......just dont get a touratech catalogue or it will blow your mind as to what you can spend yer pennies on!!!

my kits are all canbus safe and come with basic mounting kit and plugs for the lights. No specific mounts are supplied but price is V good.
