Thinking of changing 1200GSA for a 1250GSA. Build spec and options?

As it says in the title, I know some will say don't do it others will say go for it. My 08 1200GSA is great, nothing wrong with it but I fancy a change. Have looked at a few used bikes (mainly TE Exclusive but the colour leaves me cold) often the build spec is a bit vague. I searched on line for how to find this but most links don't seem to work, anyone got any ideas how to do this?

Also what options are worthwhile and what are gimmicks? I like the idea of cruise control, adaptive suspension and improved ABS.

Thanks

Save yourself a fortune and get a post '17 1200gsa TE with the D-ESA That will have all the goodies you want.

Your only here once, get whatever you want, I’ve just got a 1250gsa traded from my 18 plate gsa, the difference from an 08 will be mind blowing

+1.

Start out by checking all boxes, and then remove items until you have met your budget. (Then you circle round the block and stretch your budget until all boxes are filled again :D ). Don't waste your time on common sense.

I know, you don't need it all, but great fun to play with

I must admit I am tempted by a brand spanking new one, maybe waiting until next year to see what new options are available.

Shrouds don't have pockets!

Some good P/X deals from BMW at the moment. I got £1000 extra on my P/X.

Pulled the trigger on a new GS1250 from a GS1200 LC.

Loving the new engine and the front brakes seem to have more feel.

If you've got the money go for it!

I kept upgrade money and bought one of these with money left over.
Can't get it the right way up!

Upgraded my 2014 gsa to a brand new 1250 gsa last week. Well over 1k miles since picking it up... couldn't be happier.
Didn't want to be a 2021 guinea pig!
