In summary
from this and a lot of other threads is that the GS is a lot of fun particularly when you've spent another £3k fixing the bits the potato-heads get wrong like the screen, headlights etc but mostly because the competition is worse.
So best may be least worst, depending on your view of BMW and their dealers
I'm still sitting on the fence: I only got to 6 good reasons when the salesmen told me a blatant porkie about (not) surging.
And guys, low depreciation is what you tell the wife. Its part of the self-justification process when you've already decided. You can just picture the scene in the pub "... and you should just see how it depreciates!"
