Thinking of starting a bike meet

Here's my Big Idea "START A REGULAR BIKE MEET"

Thats it !

Got a great location in mind, and the land lord has a massive car park and willing to do all the teas and coffee's and food if it gets some interest.....

"BUT THERE IS A PROBLEM!"

I'm thinking of doing it at the HOME BAR "formaly "THE STAMFORD ARMS" at the back of dunham massey , on the lymm road...... but there is already a monthly GS meet at the windmill pub up at M6 JNC19 at the end of each month...........

would there be any interest ?....... could do a few quirky things with is ...... last one to the bar has to wear his jacket as his pants all the way home?


might end up a bit of a doo..... let me know what you think

Time for a change

Meet used to be at Broughton Arms in Rode Heath I remember.

Always comments about moving meet up north, so how about this.

As Pipster, Stone direction, never turns up anymore, give it a go next meet.
Something about thumbs, under, etc. Rushy, TerryNW, soon Earthmover :augie

I am up for it, but seldom turn up anyway.

Memory thing, being an old twat as some would say.
 
The Stamford Arms, as it was called, used to be a bikers pub back in the seventies......:rolleyes:

I used to go on my moped...:D

Remember on one night a lad rode his Z900 in through the front door, did a dounut in front of the bar then rode out again....:eek:

i never realy went to many meets,
but i would be up for a meet / lets go for a ride somewhere...
The a chicken farm just out side Stone i'd like to visit .:)
the a old the oldest KTM rider in the UK just lives just South of Holmes chapel, would mind meeting him before he pegs it;).

but hayho i think it's nice that your putting ideas forward and i wish you luck with it:thumb:thumb:thumb

the camping weekend last month went down well...i think a few more of those would be a good idea :):):beerjug:
