What about La Figa in Narrow Street, Limehouse Richard? Great Italian. Get there before food for a drink in the bar. Or start in The Prospect of Whitby with the restaurant a nice 15 min walk away.

Sounds like a good idea. Never been but walked past it many times. There is an Indian next door which I might try in the meantime...

La Figa is roughly 15 minutes walk from the Prospect of Whitby.
The Grapes is roughly five minutes.
The Grapes is roughly 10 minutes walk from Limehouse DLR station.
The Prospect of Whitby is roughly five minutes walk from Wapping station.
Wapping station > Prospect of Whitby > La Figa = 20 minutes
Limehouse DLR > The Grapes > La Figa = 15 minutes
Though I much prefer The Grapes to the Prospect of Whitby, The Grapes is a very much smaller pub. If there is a bunch of you, the Prospect of Whitby is perhaps a better choice and sacrifice the five minutes or so. If just a few, The Grapes.

On the basis that this date is not suitable for the South East 'massive', I have consulted Simon and made the decision to cancel it. Interested parties can attend either 21st May or 2nd July dates.

1. A meet in the City (EC3) - Fenchurch Street station’ish - followed by a curry close by.
2. Something in or around say, Waterloo or London Bridge’ish.
Timing…. Meet at between 18:00 to 18:30 for a couple of scoops, then nosebag.
I don’t mind if there’s two, three or 10 of us.
