This Adaptor/Pin

Hi,

My Nav is connected to the adapter underneath the cluster that one I know about. But what is this one for ?

Is it obselete? Something for US market for example? Or can I put it to good use ? USB adaptor or something … no idea folks

Aux lights ?

Pop the cover off probe the pins with the ignition of and on to see if it's switched live
 
If you follow it back, it may go to the nav cradle. I’m sure on some bikes, such as the RT range, they utilise a second connector, but not the GS range.

Yeah there are two cables. This is pre LC so no cradle unless you fit. I have the four button cradle and one cable going to that for power. I’m wondering what the other cable in the pic is for. It’s a different connection and wondering if it can be utilised. Maybe somebody has done this or it’s just obsolete.
