This fell off the bike yesterday - what's it from?

Just wheeled my 2011 GSA out of the garage yesterday afternoon and this was lying on the ground underneath. It may have been there already but given the only thing in the garage is the bike, if it didn't fall off yesterday it must have been sometime recently.

What have I been doing to the bike? Well, I've taken the beak and tank cover off but apart from that nothing.

Anybody recognise it? Its about 8mm in diameter.

I was going to say it looked like a panel clip before I read your post, now having read it, I'd say it's a panel clip off your beak or tank cover

That would make sense given what I was doing yesterday. Any idea where on the beak it goes? I've had beaks off and on numerous times but never spotted this.

Just had the instrument cluster off mine it looks like one of the three clips which hold it on.

Okay - for a bonus point.....!

I can't find it on the Real OEM parts list - the detail on the diagrams isn't good enough.

Anyone got access to any microfiche that would show its exact position or is it obvious? It's not the one on the front face of the stand as per earlier models. It's off the back somewhere but be damned if I can see it!
