Any ideas on events, gigs,or just somewhere to go camp out with my adventure, finish work at 5pm Sat so need somewhere to go off grid within 100 miles or so of wakefield:friday
just need to chill and be a complete tosser:
thanks in advance

Malham in the YDNP, a few good campsites, fantastic scenery, nice people, and if it's too cold for camping the YHA is a brilliant, clean and welcoming option.

Good idea!
But if you're not camping ensure to call to book a bed as I got a surprise to find lots of full b&bs for Thursday night!

Go East

I live 10 miles from Malham and there`s still snow on some of the side roads with more predicted this weekend. None towards the East,

BUT no camping you`ll freeze:blast

Nick

Thanks for the ideas, winter camping doesn't have to be freezing tho,you can pack all the right gear on an ADV :thumb
Looking like a blast down to the fens for a shuffty round, and explore some wartime airfields etc
A1 south and turn left I think ))

Dent :thumby:

Great campsite, couple of real ale pubs within 200 yards of the campsite. They'll be having a real fire up the chimney back.
Quaint old village, cobbled streets. Nice walking along the river or up in the hills.

Ended up in Henley on Thames you know!!
Blooming cold all weekend ,but cosy in tent with ear plugs to soften noise from jets heading into Heathrow
Had nice ride round lanes and educated a few Holliday drivers in lane discipline on ride back to civilisation via our wonderful Motorways!, Not!
Bike show/rally/gig, Sunday was good fun and GS always attracts attention ,so good Easter for me, how did anybody else fair?
LM

My Easter was full off minor mishaps but I still enjoyed the 5 day break from work :thumb2

Mine ..........was v cold, only managed 4 hours on the bike - but the hotel and company were great

The Van performed faultlessly and I took some cracking pics and had a little walk:D
