Like I said to Wully, Cape Wrath was done on a VFR on this trip.....but I wouldn't do it! (Don't tell Wully that although)
Defo going to do some of Scotland again this year but I think my big trip of the year is gonna be across the Hull ferry to Amsterdam and down through Northern France....probably in June.....who fancies it???
I've done Hull>Rotterdam with the bike a couple of times to start continental jaunts. Much better than the haul down to Dover, and cheaper once the fuel and a one night's accomodation taken into account. I fancy trying Newcastle>Ijmuden next time - it's nearer to me now. I'd love to go along but June is no good for me (busy time at work) and money's tight while I'm doing house improvements. Scotland it'll have to be this year...
