Hi guys,

After nearly drowning on the way home down the lanes from Owler Bar tonight, and having only 25% on the Conti's, I think I'd best chicken out of tomorrow's jaunt :(

Would definitely like to build up the off roading experience on the GS, but tomorrow might not be the best day to start! I'm thinking I need to get a small thumper as well, for some real 'mucky fun'.

Apologies for being a party pooper, and hope to meet all / some of you at the East Mids Camping weekend...........:aidan

Who is left then and are we still taking it easy. Just got some gear ready but I am wanna make sure we are still doing some easy stuff as the conditions aren't exactly favourable towards a complete first timer even if I am on an off roader not a big D/Sport.

Ian

:thumbnope ... ive just been out with dogs its horrendous and my bikes worth more than a bit of bravado anyway hope you have a nice day out

Ian, we will go at the ability of whoever is there. Should still be 5 or 6 of us so do come along.
There wont be anything to you cant handle on your first time out.

Cheers guys, great day. Big thanks to Rich and Mick for bending my gear lever back into a useable position.

That picture doesn't do justice to the conditions. I hit a bast*rd tree root and whoooooop there it goes :blast:blast:blast

The bikes a bit worse for wear as am I, feel like i've been punched in the breast bone by Mike Tyson. The joys of off roading :D:D:D Hopefully it'll be sorted tomorrow and ready for Friday night at EM.

Really upset to hear of Micks ankle :tears:tears:tears Feckin top bloke and I hope it's not too bad and heals quickly (did anyone get a piccy :hide:D:D).

Thanks again fellas, Mick hope you get fixed soon :thumb

Thanks to all that made an outsider welcome!
Hope all the broken bikes and limbs mend soon.
If Mick is pi$$ed off now.... wait till he see's that 'orange' sticker on his screen!

I spent a sore couple of hours in the garage and the Dak is straightened and all firmly back in place as it should be.

Definately need to get that KTM front end in it soon :blast

I don't beleive it! After all you've said about KTM and the people who ride them...

I thought you were close to turning "orange"

Do they make sidecars...?

:bounce1
