trying to get auto coms and bike to bike sorted onto both bikes for our little jaunt in to the fatherland but could be persuaded to do otherwise. just got the kawasaki 650 klr through its test yesterday and insured so it is ready to go to the ranges where i can take those who want to go a bit off road can come with me and those that want to stay on the tarmac can go with kelvinG we are looking at some time in mid may ie 9th 10th/ 16th 17th/ 23rd 24th open to any dates that suits everybody? those who want to come let me know

I'm free on Sunday for a jaunt til about 2pm ish then I'm meeting PC Beech at about 7 and going to Washington for Chips and a cuppa.....
Might take a ride up for the one of the weekends.

Now thats what I call dedication. Colchester to Otterburn to see some tanks. Fair play to you m8. I suppose it'll give you some practice for our jaunt to the black forrest. By the way I've just heard they have banned tents in Germany, I guess this means we'll have to go B & B after all.

Getting a few withdrawal symptoms mate not having seen any green stuff for a while. Might be banned for you but i'm small enough to sleep under a mushroom so thats me sorted.

.The guy on the Bandit ( larger one is 1000cc?) we picked up at Morrisons at Killy as he'd lost his mates. He was amazed at how quick the GS was on twisties and medium stretches and couldn't keep up on the A696. He said he hit 140 at one point trying.
As I'll openly say I'm not a fast rider (imho) so it's testament to how good the 1200 handles. I had the Bandit by a long shot, and decimated mates R6, VFR 800? and some other 600cc rice rocket.
But probably sunny-riding mates can't ride for shit.
What a day though, stunning weather.
