I went to Calais on the 13th too - got held up in the delays caused by the broken down train.
Once I got back home I thought I'd chance a moan to Eurotunnel about the hold-up and they gave me a 30 pound off voucher code to use on my next trip (within a year).

Cheers Aidan we were looking for somewhere not too far away but with interesting riding and were hoping it might be more wallet friendly than last years jaunt, we succeeded for the most part and had a great trip

Thank you, I'll definitely be going back, I can get to our first hotel comfortably in a day from Calais so a future long weekend is easily do-able
