Bob you'll want the 905 (908 typo?) the 4848 is for trail bikes, the attachment points are different the GS uses the standard set up.
The same as you cant fit the trail bike bags to the GS cover.

tank covers

You will see elsewhere on the board that I had a little mishap, well my week old tank cover (baglux) took a scrape also, no damage to cover OR tank but I am sure a respray would have been needed. I dont know if this actually happens or not I havn't been able to find out, but on a recent trip to Italy I found that my credit card stopped working. I thought that it was due to the fact that it was kept too close to the strong magnets of the tank bag. Thats why I got the cover and a clip on bag.

Love the functonallity (is that a real word?) of the Baglux and have one fitted to my FJR.

When I bought my first GS back in '97 I bought a Baglux but the bottom tank bag clips fouled the seat wIth the seat in the high position. I spoke to Baglux at the time and they seemed aware of the problem.

For the above reason, my GS tank remains naked. I would love to fit one, use the same tank bag for both bikes and sell my BMW tank bag. Can anyone out there answer the following question?

With a Melvin Hunter seat in the high position, will the harness bottom clips be partially covered by the seat?

Many thanks

can only repeat that I think mine is birlliant and I used the hate the idea.

Theres a chance they've modified the cover as mine fits without the seat fouling any clips.

Bought a 'Shibuya' bag (9 litre) yesterday from M&P, Coventry and was astonished to find a 5% discount on Baglux gear from them. Came up on the till as £60+afewpence, list price is £63.

I bought my Baglux tankbag / cover last week. I only got it to keep my docs in when we go to Europe, I don't fancy doing 7 border crossings and having to grovel about in my panniers every time! I had to get a Baglux as the "tank" on my 1100S is plastic and to be honest I didn't fancy getting one. I've got to say tho it's a belting bit of kit, very well made and the fit is exceptional. I got mine direct from Baglux in Wales and the staff there were brilliant.

So if you GOT to have a tankbag Baglux is deffo worth a look

Dave.
