Thought I would do a r1150 gs rallye as BMW forgot to do one

About a month ago I bought a 1150 gs off here with out seeing it,,,,, if I said its in bad condition that would be a understatement, the guy said it was unloved well it was hated in my option,,,, so I've decided to go all the way completely strip it down and make a r1150 gs rallye, I don't think BMW made one for the 1100 1150(some one will come along and put me right on that).i think when I'm done I'll email the pictures to BMW Munich show what they missed out on

I'm going red rear frame red engine crash bars, white tank and plastics with the rallye decor,

The guy who sold me the bike explained the condition so I got what I payed for as I was looking for a project keep me out of trouble though winter

This project 1150gs will take me through Russia in 2015

Xmas came earl today,,,,,,,,,',,,,,, Just got the rear rack back this morning and all the red powder coated items and then got a phone call the tank and panels were done, happy days

I'll be putting the rear frame on today so I'll post some pictures

Another night in the work shop, not going to get much done this week got loads on with work, so I'll spend an hour or so each night shot blasting the engine to get it ready for the weekend to have it coated and lacquered,
I've spent tonight striping all the front end ready for cleaning
