Thoughts from people who bought a LC in 2013 on PCP.

Hi all, I've been considering a new GS on PCP and I'm wondering about people's thoughts who did this in 2013 now the 3 year term is coming to an end. You glad you did it or would you buy used next time?

Bought mine just over a year old with under 4k on it main dealer up North east (Coopers) as they are always much cheaper up there, paid cash - would not consider 'renting' a bike or car personally - too many potential pitfalls

Mine came to an end in May after 3 years and I nearly ordered a new one however I ended up buying it as the ballon payment was about £6k for a 7000 mile bike and I couldn't see what a new bike would give me extra other than a warranty.

I'll be paying my 2014 bike off in April, but it had a new engine fitted about 6 weeks ago, so it'll still be pretty much like new.

However, I've come to the conclusion that buying a new bike is a waste of money for a weekend rider, so it'll b the last new bike I buy irrespective of whether it's bought with a bank loan, HP or PCP

Nice fella on ABR who had decided not to continue with a new pcp deal after the 3 years offered out his oil head 12GSA for sale at pretty much the same price as the final balloon payment. Apparently, anyone can make settle the final payment to BMW. Now I just need to find someone willing to do that with a LC GSA
